When someone you know reads a great book they inevitably tell everyone about it. I constantly get book recommendations and I can’t keep track of them all.     I definitely think the new media publishing world is on the way up - the best site I've found so far of it's type, although only just out of beta is Book Army.

    No problem, there seems to be a lot around with the advent of e-books just seemingly around the corner, but this one has a lot of users considering it is so new which is definitely promising. I am the sort of person who avoids the popular recommendations because they are popular (I refuse to read the Da Vinci Code out , but I like to check out the general views on a book before I buy - unless the cover looks really good!
